Our commitment to maintenance

Our policy is not to sell scissors, but we want to stay with customers for a long time.
Therefore, we will perform paid maintenance management of the scissors (made in Japan) already used by customers.
Any expensive, easy-to-use scissors will require maintenance over time.
The more expensive scissors, the more skilled craftsmen are required.
The reality is that there are many people who have regretted for maintenance easily.
The same sharpness and form as when first using high quality scissors.
Due to problems such as successors, a number of good domestic manufacturers have stopped working in recent decades, and some users are suffering from the effects.
The speed of maintenance and the simplification of distribution transactions will allow you to return anywhere in the world within three weeks.
Finally, we believe that the concept of our products is not only sharpness but also fashion, freshness, economy and safety.

We also accept products from other companies.

Daily care

The life of scissors is about 10 to 15 years when maintained every six months to one year. I want to use attached scissors longer! We want to always keep the scissors in good condition and achieve the hairstyle you want! There should be many hairdressers and barbers who think.

To achieve that, routine maintenance is required.

If the maintenance is neglected, the rust may cause poor sharpness and may cause the blade to be missing. Can also be born. Scissors are delicate. Careful daily care, such as "wiping after work every day", "applying oil", and "having a specialist to sharpen" is very important.

Specific maintenance method

Things I want to end the day

Here's how to maintain it relatively easily.

(1) Apply a few drops of special oil to the back of the blade and spread it with a tissue.
Leave it untouched until the working day.
Oil prevents the scissors from oxidizing and deteriorating.

Note: Do not apply too much. The blade may slip too much and have the opposite effect. An appropriate amount (a few drops) is OK. Also, use scissors with the oil thoroughly wiped off.

Effect: Long blade, less rust, easy to open and close.
Sturdiness: After business every day
Oil used: Artec scissor oil (substitute oil with low viscosity can be used instead)

Oils containing sulfur that dissolve rust or corrode iron are not recommended.
KURE5-56 is an oil to dissolve rust, so never use it.

(2) When opening and closing are tight, drop a few drops of oil from the contact point and open and close so that the blade does not become empty. Then, the hairs that are stuck in the screws come out.
Continue until no more come out.
Very easy to open and close.

(3) Wipe off the oil applied before starting work with chamois leather.

Sharpening and repair by a specialist

Even if maintenance is performed on a regular basis, the following cases may occur with the frequency of use and aging. In that case, do not think that it will be cut yet, and ask a specialist to sharpen the scissors as soon as possible.

Caught during cutting
I bit my hair while cutting.
The blade is rough

If polishing is performed while the blade spill is shallow, the polishing will be shallower, so the blade will need to be reduced slightly.
If you endure the use of the blade spill, it will become deeper and deeper, and it will be reduced faster because it will be aligned with the bottom of the blade when polishing.
Although maintenance costs are incurred, we recommend that you issue maintenance early.

Even without the above symptoms, regular maintenance (every 3 to 6 months) like a car inspection or a medical checkup is best.

Notes on maintenance

Should you disassemble the scissors?

Scissors have many small parts, so we do not recommend disassembly.
You can manage with oil.
If you absolutely want to disassemble, ask a scissor maker or take a lecture and then go.

What happens if you loosen or squeeze the screw during cutting?

If you loosen the jig too much, you will push it out and hurt your hand.
In addition, there is a danger that the blades will be missing because the play will increase when the scissors are opened and closed.
